About NCFFC
The National Center on Full Faith and Credit (NCFFC) was created in 1995 through a cooperative agreement between the Office for Victims of Crime of the U.S. Department of Justice and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) to promote and facilitate inter-jurisdictional enforcement of civil and criminal protection orders in state, tribal, and territorial courts pursuant to the Full Faith and Credit provision of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). The NCFFC operated under a cooperative agreement between PCADV and the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), U.S. Department of Justice until October 2006 when the NCFFC became part of the Battered Womens Justice Project (BWJP). The NCFFC currently operates under a cooperative agreement between BWJP and the OVW.
The NCFFC office is located in Arlington, Virginia.
